I am a Calligrapher, Illuminator, Lettering artist and handwritten props artisan based in London, UK. I have been honing my skills as scribe for the past several years studying traditional, modern and experimental techniques.

Passionate craftsman, I specialised in calligraphic and illuminated books, presentation scrolls, family trees, handwritten stationery and documents on paper and vellum.

My attention to details, love for ancient manuscript and interest in collecting traditional writing equipment has enabled me to acquire a deep understanding of the techniques of ancient scribes, knowledge that allows me  to create historically accurate documents for the Film and Television industry working on set as a hand double.

I gained my CLAS foundation diploma in 2016 and the Intermediate diploma in 2017. My work has been awarded Most Technically Skilled and Member’s Choice awards at the CLAS AGM in both 2018 and 2019, and made the best three works at the SSI lay members’ day (now Capital Letters) on the same years.

In 2019 my works have been awarded the Peter Esslemont’s prize for calligraphy and illumination, granted by the Worshipful Company of Scriveners. The ceremony was held at the Old Bailey in February 2020.

Amongst my most recent commissions: 20th Century Fox, BBC, The Office of the Sheriff of London, Stratford on Avon district council, Southwark cathedral, King's College London, Guy's and st Thomas's hospital, the National Gallery, the British Psychoanalytical Society.

In the past years I have taught many Calligraphy and Illumination workshops and courses both in UK and Italy. Private lesson and tutoring are available.
